hello! My name is Jacqueline, but you can call me Jackie. ^^ I just finished my first year of college!

This is where I share my small drawings, comics, and animations about my everyday life. I use Photoshop and a Bamboo tablet.

I hope they can make your day a little brighter. Thank you for visiting! <3
[Please do NOT copy, remove the watermark, or translate any of my drawings. Thank you.]

Please leave a message on my little visitor's message board! I'd love to hear from you~

A back-to-school penguin with some helpful words of advice for the new school year!
General Tips for Starting School
1. Smile and introduce yourself to people- whether you’re sitting next to them or have seen them in more than one of your classes. Everyone likes to make new friends (even if we’re too shy to do it most of the time).
2. Find which clubs look interesting and go to their first meetings- there’s never an obligation to join, but you might meet a lot of new friends.
3. Get advice from other students on if your classes/teachers are difficult and figure out which ones you’ll need to work the hardest in.
Tips for Starting College
1. It’s normal to feel a little lonely or homesick. It’s a huge change into a whole new environment, but you will adjust quickly.
2. Track how long it takes to walk to your classes! If it’s across campus, it might take 15 minutes to get there (and to find the room).
3. Keep an eye on your meal plan- you don’t want to run out or have a lot left over. *Go out and eat dinner with people as a nice way to make friends!
4. Don’t buy textbooks from the school’s overpriced bookstore! Find them sold online instead, or even as e-books.

Who said that summer was made up of three months? There must have been some kind of mistake, because it is definitely only three days long. >3<

Daytime worries too. What can you do but try not to worry and think positively. ^^;

You never really get a break because as soon as one round of tests/essays/projects are over, another one comes along.

I was busy all weekend at a hackathon! Fun stuff, especially winning a design challenge where I had 10 minutes to design something for a random theme. I’ll post my super-quick 10 minute drawings/animations somewhere for y’all to see. :D But first, gotta finish my school work!

How I felt when I first had to buy my college textbooks. >< This is a little comic I made for Slugbooks, which is a website that helps compare textbook prices of places that sell textbooks. With spring semester coming up, it might help some of you in college get cheaper books, so just a small shout-out there. ^^
